@xshmc  It sounds like you're not working with the same Sims 4 folder as the game is reading.  Here's how to find the correct folder (in-game):

When you're looking at a given folder, you can right-click it and select Get Info to see the full file path.  One common issue for Mac users is that they're unaware they're looking at the Documents folder in iCloud, not the one stored on their computer.  So if you see iCloud in the file path, you know you're not in the right place.  To open the local version of Documents, click on Macintosh HD in the left panel, then select Users > your username > Documents.
