It seems as though when the EA app updated it has been deleting flies.
It has deleted "dxgi" file. One that is important to us who play the sims with Gshade/Reshade.

YES!! I tried everything to fix my Gshade before realizing it was out of my control :(( so annoying!!!

ETA: Solution so far, uninstall EA app and re install to version 13.501.1.6009 (A previous version). The 6019 version has the issue. You can get the previous version via the EA website or doing a game repair

I didn't have to roll back to a previous version of the EA App. Reinstalling the current version worked for me.
