@luthienrising If this solution did work, is there a way to create a new save file with my existing one? As I don't want to stop playing that save?

Sometiimes loading an earlier version of a save will work. If you want to reconstruct a save, more or less, I've done that before. What I did - and note here that I play rotationally, so this was pretty involved - was save all the households and lots that I wanted to my Library so they would keep their increased skills, careers, and within-household relationships. I also wrote down the clubs and interhousehold relationships that mattered most to me. Then I imported the households and lots into the new save. After that, I used clubs to help SIms "meet" each other again (you can then delete those clubs-of-convenience) and UI Cheats Extension to re-create relationship levels.

Ah, thank you very much... Will try and do the earlier save before I do anything, but thank you for helping with the solution! I was worried it was my PC acting up!

There's still a chance that you have issues with how much you're trying to do, but hopefully not!

@luthienrising Fingers crossed...although I think the save might be corrupt! So that might be also something that is causing it. Will try those ideas tomorrow

Corruption in a save is something you can cross fingers (again) for and try loading an earlier version. It really depends on when the problem set in, unfortunately.

Hiya again....temporarily the problem was solved however it went back to exactly how it was. Just incase the lot that i am currently on is the issue, it is the darkwing house in britchester.

The game will run fine, smooth and not so much jittery and then i will go to the gallery and put a house onto the darkwing lot, this then causes my game to become jittery and then when putting it on 3x speed the game then doesn't respond!
