Remove Trait

Another option is to use a potion.

Using the in-game gallery: If you go to the in-game gallery and search "Re-Traiting Potion", I have added one to a room in the gallery (same User ID... SheriGR).
Using the browser gallery: This is a direct link to the room in the browser: https://www.ea.com/games/the-sims/the-sims-4/pc/gallery/53D3522AF29D11E88E7EB573E4FD424D If you view it in the browser/at the link, you can just click the folder icon to 'add to your downloads'. Then open your game (or close and re-open your game if it was already open), and the room will be in your game library. Place the room from your library onto your lot and have your sim drink it to get an option to change their traits.

@BrashNSassyZ   Hi! I'm wondering which trait or traits you're trying to remove. The name of the trait doesn't always match what shows in your simology panel. So using a guide like the one @SheriGR mentioned is helpful. I also like the ones available at Ultimate Sims Guides. One other thing I've noticed is that the format can be different for certain traits. For some you can simply type the name of the trait but for others, they need trait_ before the name.

Format 1
traits.remove_trait NameOfTrait

Format 2
traits.remove_trait trait_NameOfTrait

I think most of the base game and earlier pack traits fall under Format 1, while some of the later packs have used Format 2. If one of these isn't working, then perhaps try using the other format. Hope this helps!

@BrashNSassyZ  Thank you for providing the second format!  My Sim had a self-discovery trait of Glutton that I decided I didn't want and absolutely nothing was working to remove it.  CAS.fulledit showed that there were additional traits, but I couldn't access them.  The Re-Traiting Potion only offered to change my original three Traits, and the only code format I could find was the first one.  The second one worked to remove the additional trait.  I've never tried removing traits before, so I don't know if the second format is always needed for additional traits, or if it's because personal discovery was introduced in Growing Together which is a newer pack.
