Having issues with adding reward traits to sims using the equip trait cheat.

i was trying to make a poly household so needed the player trait to make it run smoothly but when i typed this into the cheat it didnt work.

e.g.

testing cheats true

traits.equip_trait player

no trait was added to the traits tab

when testing to see if it was just this trait i found that other reward traits do not work or add different traits.

for example the player trait doesn't work at all but the thrifty trait added the critically connected trait

    Seems player isn't unique anymore.

Try traits.equip_trait trait_Player instead. That worked for me.

The thrifty trait is actually: traits.equip_trait ValuedCustomer

traits.equip_thrifty is adds the critically connected thread cause that one is called: Career_Critic_Thrifty

So, looks all is working as intended.

I have problems equipping the Foodie trait. I've tried both "traits.equip_trait foodie" and "traits.equip_trait trait_foodie" but neither work, and those are the only cheats I can find for that trait.

@farmerfifi For which trait ? They are probably just named differently now. If it's for the player, did you try the suggestion above ?
  • Where do i type the trait after "traits.equip_trait trait_Player" it is still not working for me
