Rock climbing skill not increasing while Rock climbing

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.98.158.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All expansion packs except Eco Lifestyle, Highschool years and Discover University, All game packs except Dine out and Journey to Batuu, The stuff packs I have installed are Paranormal, Tiny Living, Toddler, Laundry Day, Kids room, Movie Hangout and Luxury Party. Kits I own: Book nook, Basement treasures, Greenhouse Haven, Everyday Clutter, Pastel Pop, Little campers, Blooming rooms, Incheon arrivals and Fashion Street kit. + I have the free holiday one
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 1. Get to a rock climbing wall in Mt. Komorebi 2. Click on any kind of Rock Climbing animation
What happens when the bug occurs? Rock climbing doesnt add any Rock Climbing skill
What do you expect to see? Increasing Rock Climbing skill when A sim rockclimbs
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

    @Spaceysparkles Could you please test on vanilla. All bugs in the bug forum must be tested on Vanilla, that means no MCCC either.

    Make sure to delete the localthumbcache file as well.

    @Spaceysparkles Thank you.

    I just gave this a short test and my Sim gained skill as they should so if it still doesn't work with mods removed, could you test another Sim/Save game to see if the same issue occurs ?

    hello hello. it has been a while my apologies. i just tested vanilla and it does seem to be working without any mods/cc present in the game.

    @Spaceysparkles Did you ever found out which mod it was? I have similar issue with my Sim not gaining climbing skill when mountain climbing 😞

    Hi @luthienrising !

    Not yet! First thing I did was to hopefully check if others have had similar problem and if I could find an easy solution 🤭

    I'll test vanilla and do 50/50 at some point, but it's not game braking (climbing machine still works for me, gives both fitness and climing skills) and I can mountainclimb so it's not that urgent ☺️
