I have bought, downloaded and installed the new Sims 4 Growing Together expansion but San Sequoia isn't showing up on my world select page. Worlds from other expansions are there but not this one. Is there something which has to be done manually to make it work? I can see the option to have infants in character creator so I'm pretty sure it has installed itself OK.
CASDemo was disabled and removed from Origin a while ago so I never thought about it. But I did check my program files and it was still installed.
So I uninstalled it, cleaned up the leftovers and was able to download the pack (option wasn't there before), even though it said I owned it.
Went in game and the lock is removed from the world. Content is there too.
Checked my mods and some where updated again. Forgot I had all those custom foods and harvestable plants from icemunmun. That lot I was on has a massive garden. 👿 So those errors are gone now as well.
So everything is back to normal now and all is right with the world. I have the day off so I think I will play and deal with Sims 3 another day.
For anyone reading my post, sorry for the image overload but for some user's it helps to see where they need to be. I am running Win10 but my games are installed on my D:\drive which is my terrabyte drive and not my C:\drive which is my SSD in gbs. So if you're following then go wherever you have your games installed. Just used to adding images from writing previous guides.
Best of luck to everyone, I hope you get your issues sorted.
Crin, you are as AWESOME as always. You're the BEST!!!
Okay, so I run my sims game with ALOT of mods! How I fixed the issue with San Sequoa was this 1. Save my custom families to my library from the cas menu, and my custom homes. 2. Remove ALL my mods and cashe files. 3. repair game 4. Start new game with a new save using a random loaded sim and loaded into the map now that it showed up and save. 5. Close game after save. put my mods back in and update any mods Especially any by Tmex (TwistedMexi) like Better Build Buy (BBB), TOOL, or Create-A-World (CAW) 6. Start game back up on that new save and put all my lots and families back in from library and then I was able to pick back up and play. 🙂
I hope this info is able to help anyone else, and if you do not play with mods following steps 1, 2 (removing cashe files), 3, and 4 should help fix your game.
After uninstalling and re-installing on my PC it's now showing up. Going to try the same with my laptop when I get around to it but fingers crossed it seems to be working.
I have some of the new content, but the world isn't showing up on the Worlds screen, and it also doesn't show under my Packs on the title screen. I've tried removing CC, restarting the EA app, uninstalling and reinstalling the EA app, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, and none of those have worked. Is anyone having the same problem? Any suggestions? Thanks.
@Lizzychicago I’ve had that issue before with Copperdale or the world before it. Do you use mods? I believe, looking back, TMex’s Better Build Buy or TOOL was the culprit.
Oh gosh, I have the same issue. I have a lot of packs too.. I would hate to have to re-install everything.
