Saving the Game not working properly

So this issue started this afternoon. I was playing normally on my save file when i decided that it was time for a break and clicked Exit Game -> Save and Exit. Well, to my surprise, when I opened the game again my sims were not on the same places I left them, when I went to check their skills and aspirations where also on the same level as they were the last time I had saved. I went to check if it hadn't been a mistake on my end like if I had forgotten to save the game when I exited, but I played through the game a bit, went to manage worlds and saved and when I re-entered the family only the pregancy stage of the mother had saved, all of the rest was still exactly as it was before I exited the game for the first time.

The bottom line is, for some reason only teh pregnncy stage carries through when I save and exit the family, all of the rest doesnt save. I thought it could be due to some mods that I have installed but I had them before (I updated them after the patch on 26/7/2022) and I was able to save, exited and come back with no issues.

I don't know what could be the problem but I would appreciate it very much if someone could me since this is my favorite save file and I didnt want to have to quit it.
