Non of my script mods are working and ive tried everything like the 'move mods in the desktop' and 'installing 64 bit to my windows' that someone like rosemow has said to other people with this problem, ive noticed that the things that the other people have done have worked with them, but it hasnt worked for me and im starting to loose my pacience, does anyone know what else i could do to solve the problem. Hello @QueenClementine
Go to game options and check that the " enable custom content and mods" button is ticked, which is found in :
Game Options | Other | Enable Custom Content and Mods. If it isn't ticked, do that. Then check that the script mods allowed button is ticked as well. Exit the game. Then go back into the game again and see if the mods work then .
With script mods, they can’t be more than one folder level down in your mods folder. You need to place the script mods either directly into the mods folder, or only in one level/folder in the mods folder.
For example, with the MCCC mod you can have
Documents-Electronic Arts -Sims 4 -mods-MCCC
But you can’t have Documents-Electronic Arts -Sims 4 -mods- Script mods- MCCC
When you move the mods folder to the desktop, is a new mods folder generated when you load the game? If it isn’t, do you use One Drive? If you do it could be causing this issue, Try seeing if there is a mods folder in One Drive . The game may be using that mods folder instead of the correct one in Documents -Electronic Arts -sims 4 folder . One Drive can cause issues.
If you don’t use One Drive, try using the search bar on your computer , and search to see if there may be another mods folder on your computer that the game is using instead of the one directly in the sims 4 folder.
