Second class not working in high school days

My sim is able to go to her first class then lunch. The bell rings for second class and she goes to class when there is still 20 mins left of lunch period and watches the teacher. When lunch ends the bell rings at 2pm for end of school and i get a pop up saying my sim skipped school even though she was sitting in class the whole time.
