Sim can't write if they have the Stress Free Reward Trait

So I did some searching and it looks like this is a rather new issue or an issue that isn't widely known. When you have the Stressfree reward trait, you can't write books. I was doing fine, bought the trait, and now I can't write. My sim writes for a couple seconds then stops. I make her write again, and the same thing happens. I cheated the reward trait away and tried writing, and everything is fine.

Platform: PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Anytime I try to write
What is your current game version number? Not sure; it's up to date as of 9/5/2022
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Almost all; no kits and missing wedding stories
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Take on the stress free reward trait and try to write
What happens when the bug occurs? the sim will write for a couple seconds, stop, command to write again, stop
What do you expect to see? My sim being able to have the reward trait and still be able to write books. 
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes, I play with a lot of mods
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? no. I searched the internet for this issue and was about to find a solution after days of searching. It doesnt seem to be a widely know issue or a lot of people haven't worried about it.
