Sim not doing what told

Question

i’m having issues with my current ranch family. i have 2 parents with two infants. the parents are not looking after them. the dad is asking the mum to come over and do task, or the game is exiting my tasks. i tried to take the dog a walk and the sim just leashed dog and stood in same position.

i have reset them all including dog, moved mods out and launched game but was still having the issues.

my infants stat bar was also grey instead of green

thank you for the reply. i appreciate it, i didn’t see this tho so i did end up deleting the save file and i did in fact use the repair on ea.

and from playing last night everything seems fine, definitely come back if i need help again

chloebskelton​ Please test this for me, not skipping any steps:

Drag the Mods folder to your desktop and rename it
Delete the file called localthumbcache
Test again: first in that household, then in a new save with an infant and a dog

If that's still an issue, please try a Game Repair and test again.
Let me know how this goes.
