Sim wants to flirt with/has crush on cousin
One of my sims wants to flirt with her dad & aunts cousin. And another sim has a crush on his cousin. I am experiencing this issue for the first time in my game. I do not use mods or cc in my game.

The game is showing as updated & yes they have a want bubble to flirt with their cousin. I had to do the get over crush option to make it go away.
I also clicked on those cousins to see if they had the social options to even perform romantic socials & the romantic category did pop up as an option.
- @Jamekah31 I'm actually not sure if cousin are banned from romantic interactions at all.
Here for example cousin relationships are totally legal.
Did it not work for you in the past ? No sims usually are not able to have romantic relationships with family members & As far as I know in the past romantic socials were not a thing with a sims family members.

@Jamekah31 I'm from Switzerland but there's lots of countries where this is possible.
There's no direct line to cousins and I remember this being a discussion before. I'm just not 100% sure how it works in Sims 4EDIT

So I did some testing and direct cousins don't seem to be able to flirt since they are identified as cousins. Are yours identified as cousins ? You're saying it's the dad's and aunts cousin which isn't a first cousin if I understand you correctly.
