Sims 4 - Sims Can’t Use Oven to Cook

Hello 👋


Wondering if anyone fixed an issue with their oven not working? Sims will walk to fridge and do the T pose with their arms before the task closes out. They can cook anything on the stove but anything requiring them to use the oven will not work. There is nothing is the oven, nothing in the way of the stove/oven, and I have already tried repairing my game. Not expecting a miracle but I have a lot of CC (about 20k+) and I wanted to see if anyone else had this issue before I looked for the culprit the long way.

    @luthienrisingNow using certain recipes I can use the stove/oven like the roasted chicken I can use the oven but if I want to bake cookies I cannot, and My sim resets herself and does the T pose. I've updated all my mods and recipes.

    @shannettethomas Updated mods and mods that don't have updates available can still break something. Test without. Drag the whole Mods folder to the desktop, delete the file called localthumbcache, and see if everything works.
