Sims 4 bugging out

I am wondering if anyone can help me, I am currently trying to play Sims and it's been super buggy. My Sims just went to university and all of her house mates died due to lack of care for themselves. Is this normal? My Sims was taking extra long for homework and pretty much anything she does takes a long time for the game to recognize it. Any suggestions, I've repaired my game, uninstalled it and reinstalled it. I am running out of ideas, this is the 5th Sims I had to recreate this month due to this issue. Thanks for your time
