SIMS 4 CAS, Build mode, save, and worlds issue

hello! ive had an issue with my sims game, a few days ago my game broke and wouldnt load at all. I fixed this by deleting sims 2 files i accidentally downloaded if that’s relevant information for my current issue. i cant find the answers online anywhere and have tried many things. alright, so when i launch my sims 4 application it’s fine until i open a saved game. i am unable to edit my sim, build, or go into worlds. also, if i leave the game it is unable to save. the icons for building and leaving to worlds are greyed out, and when i hover over them it says “Game Loading is in progress.” however, it says that for hours therefore there is clearly an issue. also when i try to edit my sim, it is also greyed out and says the same thing when i hover over it with my mouse. 

by the way, I have 2000 mods. due to this, when i try to move the mod file anywhere it doesnt let me since it says my computer needs 32 GB free to move the file. if i was able to move the file, i’d definitely delete and reinstall my sims game. i dont know what to do, and I want to be able to play sims normally again.
