Sims 4 game crashing after clicking resume

My Sims 4 game keeps crashing after I click resume on the home screen after entering the game. I have had this problem for a long time and I have already tried multiple trobleshoots to fix it but none of them worked. I have tried to uninstall Origin, and The Sims 4 itself, I have clicked repair in the game menu for the Sims 4, I have removed all of my custom content and cleared cache on my computer as well, I have also tried to update the game after uninstalling, removing CC, and clearing cache but nothing has worked. I do not want to lose my save files on my game and also do not want to re-pay for any of my game packs or the Sims 4 itself. I have run out of options and I do not know what to do now.

    @Foxy50105try moving them into a different lot. Check whether the household or the lot crashes again.

    @Foxy50105 Can you use load game instead and select the save game you'd want to resume?

    Then go to the household you would resume in manage worlds and see if you can load the lot. If it crashes again, go back, evict them and move them back in, see if that helps.

    @DeanXeL I clicked load game and got into the world I wanted but when I clicked on the household I wanted to play it went to the loading screen and crashed. I then loaded up the Sims 4 again and evicted the house hold and moved them back in, hit play, and it crashed again.

    @DeanXeL It worked that time! It must have been the lot, hitting resume household on the menu works again as well. Thanks for your help!

    Is there any way to fix this issue, and move my sim back into the house on the other lot? I was having the same problem, and this fixed it too, but wondered if there’s another way to go around this.

    @4qpraq4dv7em A symptom like this can have a lot of causes, so it's really hard to predict. If you get it recurring, please go ahead and start a new thread.
