sims 4 get famous all in one styling chair not working

 all in one styling chair not working, my sim can't style other sims as the bubble with a red X pops over over their head. I've tried repairing game, updating CC and removing CC and nothing has worked. Not sure what else to do

    @ally899 I don't think it's intended to work at home. The GF lot spawns a stylist that does the work for you and I'm guessing that's not happening when you place it on your home lot ?

    @ally899 Is this on the acting lot or did you place it somewhere else ?

    If it's on that lot, did you change anything about the lot ?

    Did you remove all your custom content and mods ?
