Sims 4 glitch

So I open my sims game and I don’t see the notebook, calendar, or the phone icons. I also cannot see the career, skills, relationships, inventory, or the simology icon. Also whenever I exit build mode, none of the things on the screen are there. All I see is a red square around my screen. My sims can still move but I can’t let them do anything. I already tried removing that one file that you told someone else to remove. I just can’t figure out how to fix it. I just took a break from sims for a couple of months and I came back and everything was like this. I also can’t put any photos of what is happening because my files are too large. Please help me.
