sims 4 keeps crashing after exiting cas

i never really use this but i’m at a total loss and i have no clue on what to do. i recently created a new household under a new save in copperdale, and everything was fine until i installed a couple of trait mods and now it keeps crashing when i exit cas. obviously, i did the 50/50 method, removed the mods folder completely, and deleted localthumbcache file. i’ve even tried running on directx 9 instead but no luck. i also repaired the game via the EA app, and updated my drivers; still crashing. could really use some help!

EDIT: after some hours of searching and moving files, i ended up playing a completely vanilla game with a new electronic arts folder and the game never crashed. i ended up removing my saves from my modded game, and now everything works again!
