Sims 4 light skinned parents get babies with dark skin?

Hi all, I have been encountering a problem where my two light-skinned sims get babies with dark-skinned? It has happened a few times now given the fact that all parents were lighter-skinned, wonderin...

@joelleow20 Could you try aging up the baby to see if it's still dark skinned as a toddler (just for testing).

There used to be a bug where the baby skin tones were wrong. Possibly that bug is back

    @crinrict Hey Crin, I aged the baby up but it's still dark-skinned, might be a genetics glitch? I am not sure ☹️

      @joelleow20 are there any dark skinned Sims further down the family tree ? Did you download the parents or create yourself ?

        @crinrict all sims were created myself and as far as I know the whole family tree is light skinned to tanned that’s all.
