Hello world!
this is my first time reporting an issue here so bare with me.. All my old cc is still working just fine but all the new cc i add to my mods folder doesn't show up. I went to an older thread on this and nothing worked. Does anyone know what to do?? ☹️
@0928091 It sounds like you might have an issue with where you're putting those files. Use this to find the right folder in case you have two folders called Mods: https://sims4.crinrict.com/eng/2018/07/how-to-find-your-user-folder/

I tried to follow the link you sent, but I was already using the mods folder in documents. I tried to use the drive one instead, hoping that'd fix my issue, but now the game won't even launch. It keeps saying the files in the mods folder are "corrupted". Now my game isn't even playable. Not sure what to do ☹️

I tried moving all of my cc out of the mods folder, but now both of my mods folders are empty and the game still wont open. It's still saying the cc in the mods is corrupted even though i took it out.
@0928091 The reason I mentioned OneDrive is because it's a cause of mod/CC problems. Use the link I showed you to disconnect it completely from anything to do with Sims.
After that, please try this as a testing step:
- Rename the actual Mods folder.
- Start the game and exit, so it creates a new one
- Download one new piece of CC to test. I usually use Peacekeeper furniture for this because I know it's all current.
- Install that in the new Mods folder and start the game
Post how that goes, and if you're on a Mac or not.
