Sims 4 not playing after installing seasons pack

Hey, 

I installed sims 4 seasons earlier today and the game started to play up. Prior to this it was working fine. 

After install I went to start playing, chose my family from my saved games, picked a season then it took me to choose world I want to live in. I thought was a bit odd as I hadn't moved my family previously etc. I came out and then went back in to then be stuck on a blank white screen to choose world. 

I have now unistalled the whole lot and working my way through installing everything again but I still don't think it's working properly.

Last night I updated mods ww and pandasama child birth mods are the only ones I have. I don't think these are the issue as the game worked fine up until seasons was installed. 

Any help/advice please?

* I have also tried to play the games that had newly re-installed and I still have the same issue despite seasons not being installed *

    Hi @mattd2130 

    Try the following

    • Close the game
    • Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
    • Repair the game
    • Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry
    • Start a new save game
    • Check if you still have the error
    • Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.
