Sims 4 scenario New in town

I tried new in town for the first time and one of the requirements is to introduce myself to someone, so I did and I’ve met at least 15 people so far but the requirement still doesn’t go up? It says 0/5 and no matter how many new people I meet and introduce myself it still doesn’t go up and I’m really confused
