Sims 4 ,Sims not showing up

Question

I need help, I've been trying to fix this..when booting up Sims 4 it's seems like everything is fine until I go into any of my saves or even when I make a new sim and move them in. When I would go into the game none of the house hold Sims would show up. Not even there photo.. you can't click on any objects or even do anything. The game is running but you can't really do anything. When creating a new sim it disappears as well. I tried to un-install and re-install but nothing worked. I tried to remove mods and the problem still remained. Also trying to play the other family's didn't work.My cc seemed fine as well.Any ideas??

@43270494  To be sure, the new Sim you created doesn't show up after you placed them or do the old ones you have placed before not show up ?

Both. When I'd go to my saves and play it the sims won't be there..and when I creat a new sim it's fine until I put it in a house..it disappears.

Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199

You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files &nbsp;and make a backup.

After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.

Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.

Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)
Tray Folder
Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave and no longer needed - if you still have it)
Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....
ConfigOverride, if you have your own configuration files.
Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)

The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.

Hi sorry to bother you again, your advise did fix it but when I added a mod or enabled script it happened again..what am I doing wrong?

@43270494  Make sure you use the current version of the mod. Go to site of the creator and download the newest version.
