sims 4 teleport any sim broken
hello, so i recently started having a problem with the sims 4 teleport any sim mod. i was able to use the mod fine in may of 2019 to pose my sims and then i deleted it with the pose player mod after a while because i started to become bored with it. i was looking on instagram and found that using the pose player mod enhances roleplaying so i decided to download it again. just yesterday, i downloaded a bunch of poses, the teleport mod, and the pose player mod. i started my game and played with my family and i decided to test it out. i placed the teleport statue down, but when i went back into live mode to summon my sim, the mouse came up with a red sign. i was bummed and didn't know what to do so i decided to google the issue. no one was having the same problem as me. i found a lot of issues with the same mod but not the same as me and they were all from 2017 and 2018. i have script mods turned on, i tried different links to the mod, but nothing seems to work. i was hoping to find some help so i can happily play and pose my sims again. please help me! thank you 🙂☹️
@Lola18790 I am quite familiar with TeleportAnySim by the great modder scumbumbo, who sadly enough passed away last year. The mod is now updated and maintained by Andrew, the creator of the pose player.
It is always advised to save the game (even better, do a Save As) before using this mod as it can lead to unforeseen/undesired consequences. It is basically invoking a highly invasive cheat code after all. For example, trying to teleport a spellcaster with an active familiar can completely corrupt your game file, and if you save after doing that, your save game will be left permanently broken!
I have checked and this mod is not considered broken by any of the tracking sites I use. My guess would be that you are suffering a conflict with another mod somewhere. You mentioned a red sign when hovering over the statue and to be honest, I've never seen or heard of anything like that. Did you remove your localthumbscache after installing the mod? You may also just have been extremely unlucky in your selection of sims to be teleported.
Try removing all your mods, then redownload TeleportAnySim, install it ONLY with the pose player (without any pose animations), delete your localthumbscache and then try again. If that still does not work, you may have to repair your game.
