Sims 4 won't allow me to edit my Sims
For some reason, with the most recent pronoun update both my CAS and existing-sim edit menus only allow me to view the Sim instead of editing them. I have attached a photo the post, but the issue seems to be that I can't select any clothing/facial and body features or walks/voices/traits or name, and can only view the Sim and change the camera angle. I also can't exit the screen unless I restart my computer. Just wondering if anybody else has had this issue or would know how to fix it. Thank you so much!
@sapphysketch This is typically caused by a mod that affects the user interface, for example UI Cheats, or mods by TwistedMexi. So try removing any of those if you use them, and delete localthumbcache.package as well. If that works, look for updated versions of those mods, ones specifically listed as compatible with patch 1.88.
If you don't have any of those mods, or removing them doesn't help, move the entire Mods folder to the desktop and delete localthumbcache (again). If that works, you'll need to sort through your mods; the 50/50 method can make the process much more efficient.
