Sims 4 won't open with the EA folder

Hello hello! I was having some errors with my sims game last night, and today that I took my mods away from the EA folder, the sims started working again. It wasn't giving me any errors with mods because I didn't get a corrupt file notification but what I have been getting on the EA app is "Some features have been disabled because the EA app launched from another application", even though I've tried launching it from every platform possible. Anyone know what it could be?

    Hi, hi, sorry for the late reply. It doesn't show that any of my mods are broken and I tried by moving the mods folder elsewhere but it still won't open. It shows the game as running on steam but it doesn't pop up.

    So, it's not starting but says it's already running, and this happens without mods too? Just confirming details so I can get you to the right place for support.

    so sorry reply... i ended up deleting the game and downloading it back again until now and its still not working and im still having trouble so im gonna make another post

    doochies​ So, you reinstalled? And did you also have the game make a new user folder? If you haven't yet, please do this: Drag your whole Sims 4 folder from Document > Electronic Arts to your desktop and rename it. Then try again.
