@cjosie1 Did you also remove the cache file, then restart the game and test in a new game save? Directions in spoiler tag:

@cjosie1 To clarify, is it happening to all of your households in all of the lots when you're actively playing them, and none of the NPCs are running like that?
Also, if you have the whole Mods folder moved to your desktop and delete the mentioned cache file then start the game and create a new save and try playing a different household, will the active household you're playing only run rather than walk when they are just going across a small room or similar situation?
Also, please check the patch notes for the November update. https://www.ea.com/en/games/the-sims/the-sims-4/news/update-11-01-2022
For a distance that is 'long enough', most Sims will run now when given a 'go here' command by you. This is what is says in the patch notes. Is it possible this is what you're seeing in your game?Sims will run while performing a Go Here interaction if the distance is long enough.
- …and they aren’t lazy
- …and do not currently have a buff that would prevent running..
- Sims should also run from fires. Unless they don’t. Then they’ll probably just catch fire and run in place.

yes this is happening to all of my households and i did the mods thing and deleted the cache file and it still does it, i don't understand why and it even happens when they go to the bathroom to the door. it's none of my mods i deleted the cache and i don't know how to stop it. when i have my sim take my dog for a walk its the only time that they walk and i dont know how to stop it.
