Sims can't access any "sitting" furniture.

Hey! I'm new to mods and I'm suspecting a problem with them that is affecting my gameplay, but no mod manager or conflict resolver can help. My mouse can't click on things such as desk, dining, and lounge chairs and can click on couches, but the only option is to nap, and it doesn't even work. My sims constantly try to sit but instead they just walk up to a spot as if they are about to sit, then they walk to the spot right next to it and repeat over and over again with all the chairs but never end up sitting. I went through some mods that might have conflicts and did research, and nothing seems to be working. One thing is that everything was working just fine the other day, and I didn't download any new mods / cc since then that hasn't already been deleted / deactivated. My sims also are unable to get their moodlets up on their own even with autonomy enabled. Please help!
