Sims Not Interacting With Each Other

This has been going one since the update! My sims can't interact with people who they know and can only introduce themselves to new people. This is so frustrating because I've tried repairing the game and I've uninstalled and reinstalled and the problem isn't fixed. I also can't travel or enter CAS with my sims. If anyone knows how to fix this PLEASE HELP
