sims not loading

For some reason every time i make a new game and find a lot I want to start my game on, it doesn't let me start the game it takes me back to the world options and if try to load onto that lot to play the family I created it does the same thing, I have tried repairing the game, I've uninstalled it, and re- instaled it and it still doesn't work, turned off my laptop and turned it back on I've also removed all the mods i have, this has been happening since the most recent update.
