sims won't try for baby
my sims will not try for a baby. they do have a toddler already so i don't understand why they can't try for another baby? i only have the two parents and the toddler in the household, no pets. sometimes the little heart that pops up next to the try for baby function doesn't show up, but even when it does they still don't try for baby. both sims have been in a flirty mood, they can woohoo, but they can't try for baby. the action cancels for some reason. there are also two beds and they can't try for baby in either bed, can't try for baby OR woohoo in the shower, i've deleted my caches, and i don't have any new mods. i have every expansion, game, stuff, and kit packs if that makes any difference. i just can't figure out why they can't try for a baby
update 10-19-21: my male sim had the "mean" trait, so i used a re-trait potion. that did not work.
update 2 10-19-21: i removed all of my mods and that didn't seem to work, so i removed all of my tray items and everything is working perfectly now! i guess one of my tray items was corrupted somehow.
@xochiquetzl_xkvnhe has the "mean" trait but he interacts fine with his current toddler. i don't understand how they had this baby but can't / won't have another. could the mean trait be the reason they can't?
edit: i used a re-traiting potion to remove that trait but unfortunately that didn't work.
