it takes forever to load and when I try to play in a household it keeps loading forever, I have to use Task Manager to close the sims so I can reopen it and try again. I recently got a new PC specifically for the sims and even removed a lot of CC so the game will load. I have over 500 GB open so I don't understand why it lags and takes so long to load.
@CyD07 Does this happen with your Mods folder removed? You don't have to save your progress; this is just for testing.
Separately, does this happen in a new save, with no mods or cc? Please test and let me know. If the new save is affected, please run a dxdiag and attach it to your reply.

no the game works perfectly fine without the mods or cc.
