some cc not showing up

SO, my Sims 4 has been having this problem for the longest time now and I have tried EVERYTHING. When I download cc, I get it from patreon or thesimsresource. So I download it and extract if its zipped, put in my mods folder, no more than 1 file deep blah blah blah. But when I go into game, it does not show up. I have older cc that does show up. Like, I'd say 98% shows up. But only recently, I started noticing that it stopped showing up in game. I have no idea why. I generated a new sims 4 folder, I unenabled and reenabled script mods and custom mods (i don't remember what it's called). I have literally done everything to try and fix this and just nothing is working. I at one point got a single Mod to work in game (, before this it wasn't showing up either and then randomly started working after I was messing around in EA settings) but absolutely zero of the cc I have recently downloaded has showed up in game. Mind you, I still have all my older cc showing up and working just fine. I dont think I have any broken cc aside from this one ceiling light that makes counters in the sims darker, but I don't think that is the problem. SOMEONE HELP ME OUT. PLEASE. This is so frustrating, I just want to make cute sims houses
