Stay Over Guests, I can't interact with the teen that is staying with us

Hi all,

I just purchased the pack earlier today, the Growing Together one.

My first family wants to stay with us, my sims husband's fellow vampire clan.

They are a family of 3, husband, wife and teen daughter:

I can interact with the YA/Adults just fine, but I can't even interact with their daughter.

I have tried resetting her, managing worlds, and coming out of the game entirely and nothing works.

I'm just curious if it's just not an option at all for us to interact with anyone younger than Adults, or if my game is bugged somehow.
