I just got the Life and Death expansion pack and when I clicked on the new world to move in my screen is just stuck there, I click on it and it appears to load but doesn’t actually load
I feel like I’ve had this problem before but I don’t remember how I fixed it
I took out my mods folder, removed the localthumbnail package and also took out the T.O.O.L mod and then put my mod folder back in and it’s fixed

If the new save is fine, you'll need to disable the pack temporarily, load your main save, save your progress (thereby removing all L&D-related content from the save), quit, and reenable the pack. If the new save is affected, the problem is likely something in your Mods folder, so please remove that folder and test another new save.
It happened in a new save, I haven’t tested with a previous save yet but I will be checking my mods
