I can start up the game just fine, and I can create Sims. However, when I try to play as that household or any household, it goes back to the world map. I can't play as any of my households. I made sure I didn't have any broken cc, and I made sure the game was repaired, but it's still not working.
nicoelsims Please test with your Mods folder removed. You don't need to save your progress.
Thank you so much! I tested it without the mods, and it finally worked. I slowly started adding my mods, and it officially works again.
Which mods were causing your problem?
I am having the same exact issue. Can you share some tips on how you fixed it? Like, is your slow adding of mods just dragging the exact same files slowly back into the folder until one breaks it or did it suddenly work after adding all back in or did you redownload them all from scratch or...? 😱
I just finished downloading almost everything from scratch and running through curseforge updates so I am like internally dying after all that effort broke the game. Even a new save didn't let me play as a household.
