Technical issues

Hi, I play on Mac and every time I go to make a new sim as of recently, I can't remove any clothing or accessories from the sims. I can change the clothes but not remove them. Along with hair etc. I can't see the color options either for clothes or other things. Also, it's doing this weird thing. I ran a program to see if any of my mods were broken or outdated and their not. With my other sims, when I load in, my hair looks like this unless I zoom in some more and it goes back to normal. Along with the sims face sometimes it looks weird like that or there would be random textures on my sim. Can someone help me, please?
