Teen Sims Not Enrolled into High School after being created

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Mac
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.93.146.1220
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? I have all of the packs available.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? The bug usually happens when you start a new family and have a teen in it.
What happens when the bug occurs? The teen sim is not already enrolled in high school and you have to get on the phone to find a job. Then you enroll in high school. When you go to enroll in an after school activity, it makes you drop out of high school.
What do you expect to see? Teen sims should already be enrolled in high school until you let them graduate and teens should be able to add an after school activity without being dropped out of high school.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I have noticed that it sometimes happens when you add a sim from the gallery but that shouldn't have changed if a teen sim is enrolled in high school right off the bat.

    @Jassbvd Fixed it! I had the option to abandon high school on mccc turned ON for an specific game play and forgot to turn it off. I've ran some tests and now everything should be back to normal. Just in case anyone else has the same problem 😉

    I got that when I aged up my sims too, it happened three times now in two different saves

    @Jassbvd Fixed it! I had the option to abandon high school on mccc turned ON for an specific game play and forgot to turn it off. I've ran some tests and now everything should be back to normal. Just in case anyone else has the same problem 😉

    @Jassbvd Thank you! I have no idea when or why this got turned on for me, but it was so I turned it off. The next time a child aged up, it was enrolled in High School, so this 100% fixed the issue for me. I did so much googling to look for the answer, and you were the only one who provided a fix!

    Where do you see abandon high school in mccc? How do you turn it off?

    @JDArm08   Hi!  I see an option by clicking on a computer in-game, then selecting MC Command Center > MC Career > Teens Quit School.  I don't know if this is the same setting but perhaps you could check if that one is enabled.  It could be a matter of another language translation to English being slightly different than the English version.

    Thank you so much for figuring this out! Were you able to enroll those teens in HS after you changed your MC settings?

    I thought I had it figured out with careers.add_career_Teen_Highschool, but it did not work. Only 1 of my 3 children are enrolled in High school. There is no option to enroll them. 

    I have MCCC and it is disabled so that is not the issue. I do not know what to do now. This is frustrating as it happens quite often.
