Phone and bed CC mods can cause sims to not respond, it isn't just script mods you have to worry about. So my advice is, as always with game patch vs mod updates -
Go through your mods list and update all that have been updated -

Remove any mods that are broken but haven't yet been updated.
Make sure you delete the localthumbcache.package file after updating your mods (or removing/adding mods).
