The worst part is that time is still moving, but the sims won’t move for sometimes sims hours. It’s very unfortunate because sims getting late for stuff, fires are more often, taking care of infants is so much more difficult and more! Please help. I have no mods, just the games I buy and its all up to date

Hi, sorry for the delay. Yes it has happened with all families across all lots. Even on vacation.

Hi @luthienrising i don’t have any mods installed. Just the game packs I bought through origin.
while playing, the sims literally stuck doing their action while the clock ticking, needs going down for a long time. Sometimes it takes clicking off the action or a diff sim to start an action to get the others to unfreeze.
I might just delete and reinstall and see if that helps. But I really doubt it will because my game & hardware is fully up to date, and I press the repair option quite frequently especially after updates.
@Shakii24 Try a folder refresh first: Exit Sims 4 then drag your whole Sims 4 folder from Document > Electronic Arts to your desktop. Launch Sims 4 and reset your Options. Then put the contents of Saves and Tray back in the new folders.
But there are other things that could be issues. It could be all the stuff on a lot, including in inventory, for example, just giving way too many interactables for your computer to process.
