the miniatures do not load in the game and it does not let me start the game
I factory reset the game and discovered that the error is in the saves folder, which worries me a lot because I thought it would be something from the cc. The photos of the places, sims, the thumbnail of the sim that goes next to the play button at the start, none of it loads, a big x appears and it doesn't let me start the game with that error either. It only leaves me in the worlds in which all the lots are replaced by that x. I don't know what to do
Try a user folder reset. Just rename the "The Sims 4" folder or move it to your desktop. Start the game and choose New Game at the Main Menu. A new user folder will be created. Once you've made and placed the sim, save and quit. Move the saves folder from the old "The Sims 4" folder to the new one. Start the game and see if any of the saves will load. If they won't, then the save is corrupted. If they will, check the maps and enter a household to see if things seem normal (other than missing CC). If they do, then exit without saving. Copy your mods folder from the old "The Sims 4" folder to the new one, then start the game. Check to see if things seem normal again. If not, then it's something in your mods folder causing the problem and you'll have to find the problem file and delete or update it. If things appear to be normal, then play on.
