Okay guys, I'm making some progress and found a .dds plug in that was compatible with Mac which I'll put in my first post of this thread. I know someone may run into the same problems as I am so I'm trying to document as much as possible.
here is another version saved with .dds file extension. Some editing still needs to be done. There's different mipmaps to save with - I have no idea what the heck a mipmap is so I will be researching it. I can not believe making a lipstick is taking literally 4 hours :)
Please note that there's less pixelation - it's less about the color.
Here is the lipstick in final. I was getting way too meticulous. When I think this is the quality anyway of custom lipstick as I've been looking at others.
