So here the issue I'm having, my Sims Gallery will show the grey Llama with wings icon on the catalog listing and then when opening the friends list it show that my following list is zero even though...

Solution Found~ I have to put the mods in the mod folder then while the game is getting ready to open take the mods out the folder out but because the game is open it won't allow the folder to be moved because it is using the files. Somehow it tricks the game to show The Sims 4 gallery catalog with no issue. So now I can see my friends list and no more gray Llama icon show up either. Also, I found out that once I load the mods like that, I won't have to redo this step every time I want to play the game.
I am having the exact problem! please find a fix for this.
