Trendi outfit is sold but it's not in my sim' inventory. How do I find it?

I just used Trendi for the first time. My sim wore the outfit one time, went to bed and the outfit never came back in my inventory. I listed that outfit and someone wants to buy it... Any clue to where the outfit could be if it's not in my sim's inventory?! 🤔
