I have seen a few comments about certain mods/cc causing issues with the freelance photographer career.
You could start by testing with another Sim in your current save or in a new one..
Try removing (not disabling) mods / cc and delete the localthumbcache.package and any other cache files.
Test the game to see if the issues are still there.
Testing on a vanilla (no mods/cc) folder is the best way to investigate causes of issues.

I only get the option to submit photos for approval when my Sim is on her home lot. I'd recommend trying again when your Sim is at home, by clicking on the individual photos.
- KatMagic19856 years agoRising Rookie@EuphorialQueen I tried all those options, and the bottom line is a Sim cannot Submit a photo when they aren't at their home lot. This is a design flaw.
