Unable to move past Character Creation

I have played Sims4 for a little under 400 hours now on my laptop. Nothing new has changed other than the game updated recently giving me "Scenarios". I don't utilize mods. 
When the game updated last night I lost all my original games. One had several households I played in and spent a ton of time with. On top of that, I also now cannot start a new game. I can created the characters I want, but once I go to select the check after confirming my household it doesn't do anything else. The sim on the character creation screen still makes noises and moves behind the "pop up". I cannot move past the screen to choose where I want them to live or anything else. 

It's a glorified Character creator that I can't even save. 

I've uninstalled the game, reinstalled, "repaired" in the origins app and nothing I've done has fixed it. I also continously get an error from One Drive that I already have an EA folder made, despite deleting it several times over. It won't go away. I've renamed them, deleted them, everything and it continuously comes up.

    @foxxyboxx3  Hello! I don't use OneDrive so I'm not sure but it seems like your computer may be set to automatically synch your files to OneDrive.  While this is useful for some things like photos or videos, the Sims 4 game is programmed to look for your files in the Documents / Electronic Arts / The Sims 4 folder, not OneDrive.  I found this thread on Microsoft's answers forum.

    Try these steps to prevent synching of the folder...

    To stop a certain folder from syncing on OneDrive, you may deselect it on the OneDrive settings.

    1. Right-click on the OneDrive icon on the system tray (bottom-right part of the screen).
    2. Click on More and click on Settings.
    3. Click on the Account tab and click on Choose folders.
    4. Uncheck the folder that you don't want to sync on OneDrive, you may expand each folder by clicking the arrow beside it.

    In your case, expand the folders to see if the Electronic Arts and/or The Sims 4 Folder can be unchecked.  Otherwise, you may have to uncheck the Documents folder.
