Unable to Save (Corrupted Save File)

Just after buying and installing the Life & Death DLC, I played on my save that I had spent hours on. Saving started taking forever while disk usage was 0. I had to force close the game and try again "Save" didn't work at all and “Save As” worked once, but then failed again.

While this was my biggest issue, I also noticed another problem: Create a Sim could not load, although this only happened once.Before installing Life & Death, I was already unable to play some families that I were unplayed before. I think my save file may have become corrupted. I tried playing on a new save and everything worked completely fine.

I play on Windows 11. I own every Game Pack and Expansion Pack except For Rent, Lovestruck, Businesses and Hobbies, Enchanted by Nature, and Adventure Awaits. I also use CC and some script mods (quality of life mods like MCCC and UI Cheats Extension).

    StalkyGurl​ please do a "vanilla" test:  Drag the Mods folder to the desktop and rename it, delete the file called localthumbcache, open the game to test, and exit without saving. Please also test on a new save. This will let you know if a mod or CC item is your cause.
