Unmodded game keeps crashing

I've been experiencing a bunch of issues at the moment,
I have a Macbook Pro (13-inch, 2017, Two Thunderbolt 3 ports)

Processor: 2,3 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5

Graphics: Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640 1536 MB

Memory: 8 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3

MacOS: 13.0.1 (22A400)

Better Exceptions kept reporting a whims_tracker bug, so I cleared all my mods and just the Better exceptions,

it still keeps coming up.

Now I've also cleared better exceptions (so no mods running) and my game now crashes.

I'm only 5 min into the game trying to sell a chicken and this happens.

What should I do?

Moved to the Game and Mods forum as it is not a Mac Tech issue.

Move the Sims 4 folder to the desktop and launch the game so a new one is created. Does it crash?

    Hai thanks for your help,

I don't understand why you moved it,

yes I noticed some issues with mods

but without mods the game crashes....

So it's not a mod problem right?

Maybe I did not explain myself clearly enough, english is not my first language.

    But heres the situation again

    After noticing the issues,
    I removed the mods folder

    and restarted the game,

but now without the mods the game crashes.

This is a new save file, new family and this is de the lastcrash.txt file.

This save file is identical to 4 other lastcrash files, because I tried this with restarting my macbook in between,

    repairing via origin in between.

So to answer the question: 'Move the Sims 4 folder to the desktop and launch the game so a new one is created. Does it crash?'

Yes that's when it started to crash. Before moving the folder I only had better exceptions...

    @AfroJill

But you state that you only moved the Mods folder. I am asking you to move the entire Sims 4 folder from Documents > Electronic Arts to the desktop then launch the game.

Sorry I misunderstood that you wanted me to move the entire sims 4 folder,

it does not seem to crash if I move the entire folder, is that a good thing?

What does it mean and what do I do now?

The game does need to be forced to quit, it doesn't exit by itself,

but I believe it is a known issue with macbook and MacOS Ventura.
